Preparing, installing and maintaining Windows NT, 2000, and 2003 based servers. Administering DHCP, DNS, WINS, DFS, site replication, clustering, with Active Directory.
Using Active Directory to administer user accounts, network printers, creating groups for file & print access, ensuring that all the resources are in the correct OU's to receive the policy assigned to the OU. Managing an Exchange 2003 server, and Citrix environment. Assisting with SMS package deployment. Monitoring & responding to MOM alerts, resolving any faults that arise.

Maintenance of the server estate using defined change control procedures and provide regular auditing of the servers and related assets
Providing and maintaining operational security of the server estate through the control of passwords, access restrictions and regular anti virus updates
Actively involved in the ongoing development and deployment of upgraded IT systems
Administering the antivirus solution for all the workstations & servers
